Description:
LOCTITE 242 is a single component anaerobic threadlocking material; it is thixotropic, has medium strength and cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces; it has a secondary activator cure that may effect bond performance. 0.5 ml capsule.
Minimum purchase of one pack of 100 capsules required.
Typical Use:
Prevents loosening and leakage of threaded fasteners. Particularly suitable for applications such as pump or motor mounting bolts, engine rocker nuts or equipment housing screws, where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing.
