自2008年11月20日起，锂离子蓄电池列入NSPs的管控范围。即能量密度超过400 Wh/L的二次锂离子蓄电池（用于移动设备、桌上笔记本等）。下列锂离子电池除外：

    用于医疗设备、工业设备和汽车类的锂离子电池；

    用焊接或其他方式固定到产品上不能轻易移出的电池；

    特殊结构的电池。

测试标准：

JIS C 8712  用于便携设备的密封二次电芯或电池-安全要求

JIS C 8714  用于便携式设备的小型锂离子蓄电池和蓄电池组的安全测试
